Task 541 – Product Discount Codes

This feature was released earlier this week and allows discount codes to be applied to products.

To apply a discount code:

  • Navigate to Revenue > Products

  • Select an existing product or create a new one

  • Select Discount Codes

  • Click Add Discount Code

The discount code will be available during the final checkout step where credit card or bank account information is collected.

Task 449 – Recurring Membership Renewal Fix

Recurring payments were failing due to a bug that caused subscriptions to be automatically cancelled after the second renewal cycle. This issue has now been resolved.

During testing, we also discovered that the same bug affected webhook failure notifications. This issue has also been fixed.

Task 448 – Additional Guest Fee Fix

UACE reported an issue where sessions configured with "Additional Guest Fee = No Fee" were still charging guests the same session fee as the primary registrant.

This has been corrected. When a session's Additional Guest Fee is set to No Fee, additional guests will no longer be charged session fees.

Task 441 – Event Guest List Download Enhancements

RHAU reported issues with event guest list downloads.

The updated functionality now allows administrators to download up to three separate CSV files from the Guest Details section of an event:

  • Guest registrations submitted through standard Registration Data Forms

  • Guest registrations submitted through Guest Data Forms

  • Registrations submitted through Booth & Sponsorship Data Forms

Important: If an organization changes an event to use a different guest data form, data collected through the previous form will not automatically transfer to the new form.

Task 428 – Membership Profile Product Display Fix

A reported issue caused products with the "Other" product type to appear within a contact's Membership Profile. This has been fixed and these products will no longer display there.

Upcoming Enhancement:
A future update is planned that will rename and expand the Membership Profile area to support both Memberships and Sponsorships, including indicators identifying the product type. As a result, sponsor-type products may still appear in this section.

Please note that some purchases may take time to process and may not appear immediately.

Task 440 – Email Subscription Override

Verified that administrators can now override an unsubscribed email address from the Contact Details page.

Applying the override will set the contact back to a subscribed (email opted-in) status.

Task 439 – Required Contact and Registration Fields Enhancement

Administrators can now mark both Contact Custom Fields and Event Registration Fields as required.

Contact Fields

To configure required contact fields:

Settings & Tools (Gear Icon) > Contacts > Data Visibility

A new Required column has been added. Fields marked as required will be enforced across event and membership registrations.

Notes:

  • Certain fields (First Name, Last Name, Street Address, etc.) cannot be modified because they are already part of the core registration process.

  • For a field to appear on a registration form, it must be visible in Admin View.

  • Once a field is marked as required, users who do not have a value entered will be unable to save or update their profile until the field is completed.

  • Please include this item in the possible WAVY questions list.

Event Registration Fields

To configure required registration fields:

Settings & Tools (Gear Icon) > Events > Custom Data Forms

After creating or selecting a form, individual fields can be marked as required. Registrants will be unable to continue registration until required fields have been completed.

Notes:

  • Checkbox and Yes/No fields intentionally do not support the Required setting.

  • Current required field validation requires direct user interaction and could otherwise force inaccurate responses.

Important:
Modifying and republishing registration forms may result in previously submitted responses becoming inaccessible. Organizations should download current registration and guest data before making form changes.

Task 429 – Event Registration Data Alignment Fix

UACRAO reported that exported registration data was becoming misaligned when field values contained commas.

This issue has been resolved. Registration data containing commas will now remain correctly aligned within exported CSV columns.

Task 417 – Organization Deletion Confirmation

Deleting an organization that has associated memberships will now display a confirmation prompt.

Upon confirmation, the organization's memberships and all associated contact memberships will also be removed.

Task 406 – Invoice Payment Processing Fix

When initiating an event payment from the Invoice section, users were occasionally redirected to a blank white screen after entering credit card information.

This issue has been resolved and payments now process successfully through Stripe.

Task 375 – Booth Registration Fixes

Booth registration functionality is now operating as expected.

The following issues have been resolved:

  • Automatic success screen display when using an email address that had already been processed

  • Automatic selection of all booth add-ons

These issues were identified internally and were not reported by KSPMA.
