Recur Sites pages: all pages

Last updated August 5, 2026

Objective

The Pages module in Recur Sites provides complete control over your website’s structure and content. Whether building from scratch using modular components or managing existing layouts, this guide covers page management, layout creation, and component usage.

Managing Existing Pages

The Dashboard View

Navigate to Pages > All Pages from the left sidebar to view every page created across your site.

  • Filter Views: Easily filter between All Published, Drafts, or pages With Changes. You can also isolate Public Pages versus Member Pages (restricted strictly to the member portal).

  • Bulk Actions: Select multiple pages (e.g., all drafts) to publish, unpublish, or delete them simultaneously.

  • Layouts: Switch between Grid and List view using the toggle next to Create Page.

  • Individual Page Settings: Click the three dots (...) next to any page to Edit, adjust SEO, Copy, or Unpublish.

Creating a Page Manually

To create a new page, click Create Page in the top-right corner and select Blank Page.

1. Basic Page Configuration

Before adding content, set up the primary page properties on the central canvas:

  • Page Title: Set the internal and display name for the page.

  • Visibility: Designate the page as Public or a Member Page.

  • Publication & URL: Customize the page URL path and edit the published date.

  • Search Engine Indexing: Toggle whether search engines like Google can index the page (recommended to leave enabled).

2. Header Control Buttons

  • AI Creator Agent: Use the top AI icon to help generate or rewrite section content.

  • SEO Metadata: Click the SEO button to customize title tags and meta descriptions.

  • Version History: Revert to previous saved states if you make an unwanted edit.

  • Responsive Previews: Use the top icons to view how your page renders on Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile screens.

  • Save as Template: Click Save as Template to save a manually designed layout for future reuse.

Page Components & Building Blocks

On the left panel, drag and drop components directly onto your canvas:

Layout Components

  • Grid: Drop grids onto the page and specify up to 9 custom columns.

  • Flex Layout: Creates responsive containers that auto-adjust fluidity for mobile screens.

  • Space: Adds adjustable margins between structural grids.

Content Components

  • Heading & Text: Drag headings (adjustable from smallest to largest) or standard text boxes with built-in AI rewriting assistance.

  • Tables: Insert manual tables or paste tabular data directly from external spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets).

  • Hero & Cards: Add bold hero banners with image carousels or cards for featuring upcoming events and highlight items.

  • Stats & Call to Action (CTA): Present key metrics or prominent signup buttons.

Recur Integration Widgets

Drag and drop live widgets directly tied to your Recur database:

  • Events: Embed a Single Event, an Event List, or a dynamic Event Calendar.

  • Products & Donations: Display individual store items or a dedicated donation collection widget.

  • Contact & Job Boards: Insert interactive forms or the association career center widget.

Media & Embeds

  • Direct Media: Upload image files, video players, or audio files directly.

  • IFrames & Embeds: Insert external web pages, maps, or social feeds.

  • Directories: Embed entire Google Drive folders, Dropbox directories, or your internal Recur Media Library directly onto the page.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Outline Navigation: If a component becomes hard to select on a busy canvas, click Outline on the left menu to view the structural tree and select element layers directly.

  • Deleting Elements: Click an element on the canvas and select the small Garbage Can icon in the top-right corner of the selection box.

  • Template Strategy: For complex multi-column layouts, use pre-built page templates rather than building grids completely manually from scratch.
