Objective
The Member Portal in Recur serves as a centralized hub for your association or organization's members to connect, network, engage in community discussions, track finances, register for events, and manage their credentials.
Member Portal Navigation & Core Features
1. Dashboard & RecurScore
RecurScore: Measures engagement based on member interactions with the association (e.g., opening engagement emails, attending events). The higher the participation, the higher the score.
Dashboard Overview: Displays recent member portal activity and provides quick links to current discussions, the directory, and upcoming events.
Display Preferences: Toggle between Light Mode and Dark Mode using the button in the bottom-left corner.
2. Me Tab (Personal Management)
Profile: Manage and edit personal information and profile settings.
Membership: Review active memberships, past membership history, and explore available subscription/product tiers.
Finance: Track total invoices, including open, paid, and overdue balances.
3. Community Tab
Discussions: Start new discussion topics or join and reply to existing community conversations.
Groups & Organizations: Browse members within specific committees or organization groups. Administrators can add, manage, or remove group members from this area.
4. Events and Learning Tab
Events: Browse upcoming events, register or unregister, inspect registration history, and view earned Continuing Education (CE) credits per event.
CE Credits (Continuing Education): Tracks credits required for professional licensure (e.g., chiropractic licenses). CE credits automatically apply to the member's account upon event attendance.
5. Network Tab
Member Directory: Search and sort members who have opted to be visible in the public or member-only directory.
Job Board: Search, filter, or post new career listings.
Resources (Members-Only Pages): Access restricted content created in Recur Sites (pages configured with Members-Only visibility appear exclusively in this section).
6. Admin Tab
Portal Management: Accessible to administrators for an high-level overview of portal activities.
Administrative Controls: Approve pending job board postings, manage community discussions, audit CE credits, and adjust portal configuration settings.
Cautionary Notes
Members-Only Visibility: Pages designed for member resources must be specifically tagged as Members-Only during page creation in Recur Sites; otherwise, they will default to public visibility.
Automatic CE Credit Allocation: Ensure event check-in systems are properly configured, as CE credits are automatically deposited into member accounts upon verified event attendance.
Tips for Efficiency
Engagement Tracking: Encourage members to check their RecurScore on the dashboard to incentivize higher participation in events and community forums.
Financial Management: Direct members to the Finance tab within the "Me" section for quick self-service invoice settlement without needing administrative support.
