Member portal: events, & CE credits

Last updated August 5, 2026

Objective

The Events and Learning tab in the Recur Member Portal provides members with a dedicated center to discover upcoming association events, manage event registrations, review past attendance history, and automatically track Continuing Education (CE) credits required for professional licensure.

1. Managing Events

Discovering & Registering for Events

  • Accessing Events: Hover over Events and Learning on the left menu and select Events.

  • Upcoming Events View: Browse all published upcoming association events, complete with dates, descriptions, and venue details.

  • Registering: Click the Register button on any event card to complete your signup process.

  • Checking Status: Events you have already signed up for display a clear Registered badge.

Modifying Registration & Checking CE Value

  • Unregistering: If your schedule changes, you can cancel your attendance directly from this tab by clicking Unregister.

  • At-a-Glance CE Credits: If an event awards Continuing Education credits, the total number of earned credits (e.g., 4 CE Credits or 4.5 CE Credits) displays prominently in the top-right corner of the event card.

Event History

  • Scroll down to the Event History section to review past events hosted by your association, including previous dates and whether you were registered.

2. Tracking CE Credits (Continuing Education)

Click CE Credits under the Events and Learning sub-menu to monitor your professional compliance status:

  • Compliance Status & Total Accumulation: View real-time metric cards displaying your total earned CE credits and any pending credits awaiting verification.

  • Upcoming Scheduled Credits: Track future credits tied to upcoming registrations (e.g., viewing 4.5 scheduled credits tied to your Oktoberfest event signup).

  • Automated Credit Deposits: Once you attend a registered event and complete onsite check-in, Recur automatically deposits the allocated CE credits directly into your portal account history without manual data entry.

Cautionary Notes

  • Unregistering Deadlines: If an event has a strict registration deadline set by event admins, make sure to unregister before that cutoff date if you can no longer attend.

  • Automated Credits Require Attendance: Simply registering for a CE-eligible event will list the credits as "Scheduled." Credits only convert to "Earned" status after verified event attendance.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Licensure Renewal Audit: Before submitting your annual professional license renewal, visit the CE Credits sub-tab to inspect and export your complete credit compliance history at a glance.
