Member portal: member directory, job board, members-only resources page
Last updated August 5, 2026
Objective
The Network and Resources tabs in the Recur Member Portal serve as key community and administrative hubs. The Network tab hosts the Member Directory and Job Board, while the Resources tab surfaces Members-Only Pages built inside Recur Sites.
1. Member Directory (Network Tab)
Overview & Admin Capabilities
Accessing the Directory: Hover over Network on the left menu and select Directory.
Member Profiles: Displays name, title, company, location, phone number, and email address for all members who have enabled directory visibility in their personal profile settings.
Administrative Controls: Portal administrators can view extra tracking metadata:
Member Invite Status (e.g., pending or accepted).
Last Login timestamp.
Direct action buttons to Invite or Re-invite members to the portal.
Display & Filter Options
Layouts: Switch between List View and Card View using the toggle in the top-right corner.
Exporting: Print or download directory records as a PDF.
Filtering: Filter listings using standard parameters or custom filter sets configured in Admin Settings.
2. Job Board (Network Tab)
The Job Board enables members to browse opportunities and allows organizations to post career openings.
Submitting a Job Listing
Navigate to Network > Jobs and click Post a Job in the top right.
Enter the Job Title, Company Name, Job Description, Location Type, Job Type (Full-Time, Part-Time, etc.), City, State, optional Salary/Required Skills, and a Contact Email.
Click Submit for Review.
Administrative Approval & Review Queue
When a non-admin or corporate member posts a listing, it routes to an administrative approval queue:
As an admin, go to Network > Jobs and click Review Queue (or click Review in the upper right).
For any pending posting, choose to Approve, Reject, Edit, or Delete.
Upon selecting Approve, set an Expiration Date (e.g., set to expire in 2 weeks) and click Confirm Approval.
Once approved, the listing publishes live on the active job board feed with its original post date.
Sharing & Settings
Public Feed: Click Public Feed in the upper right to copy a public URL to share career opportunities with external candidates outside the Recur portal.
Your Postings / Rejected Tabs: Filter between active company listings, expired postings, and rejected submissions.
Admin Notifications: Configure email notifications in Admin Settings so selected staff members receive an immediate alert whenever a new job listing enters the review queue.
3. Resources Tab (Members-Only Pages)
The Resources tab acts as a restricted content library for exclusive association assets, guides, and documentation.
How Pages Appear Here: Pages displayed in this tab are built within Recur Sites.
Configuration Rule: When building or editing a page in Recur Sites, set the Page Visibility parameter to Member-Only Page.
Automatic Sync: Any page saved with "Member-Only" visibility automatically populates under the Resources tab in the Member Portal, keeping it hidden from the general public.
Cautionary Notes
Review Queue Gatekeeping: New job postings submitted by general members remain hidden from the job board feed until explicitly reviewed and approved by an administrator.
Directory Privacy: Members who toggle off directory visibility in their personal profile settings will not appear in the directory search results, even for administrators.
Tips for Efficiency
Automated Expirations: Always set realistic expiration dates (e.g., 14 or 30 days) when approving jobs in the review queue to ensure your career center feed stays fresh without manual cleanups.
