Adding a LinkedIn Preview to Your Website Page
Last updated August 5, 2026
Objective
This guide explains how to integrate your association's LinkedIn presence directly into your website using the Social tools within Recur Pages. These features help drive member engagement, showcase recent activity, and grow your LinkedIn following seamlessly.
Key Steps
Step 1: Access the Social Tools
Open the Pages editor in Recur.
On the left-hand sidebar, locate the section under the Recur category labeled Social.
You will find two primary widgets: LinkedIn Feed and LinkedIn Follow Button.
Step 2: Set Up the LinkedIn Feed
Placement: Click and hold the LinkedIn Feed widget, then drag and drop it into your desired layout section on the page.
Connect Account: In the right-hand settings panel, enter your LinkedIn Company Username (found in your LinkedIn URL). This allows Recur to pull live posts directly from your profile.
Customize Display:
Post Limit: Set the maximum number of posts to display at one time.
Layout Style: Choose between Card, Compact, or Minimal views to match your website’s aesthetic.
Headers: Toggle the Company Header or Logo/Info on or off.
Engagement Settings: Decide whether to show Engagement Stats (likes, comments, shares) and Post Dates to give members context on how recent and popular your content is.
Step 3: Add the LinkedIn Follow Button
Placement: Drag and drop the LinkedIn Follow Button widget onto your page, ideally near the footer or header for maximum visibility.
Configuration: In the right-hand panel, paste your full LinkedIn Company URL. This ensures that when a user clicks the button, they are redirected straight to your profile.
Follower Count: Toggle the Follower Count display. This can provide "social proof" by showing how many other people are already connected with your association.
Step 4: Preview and Save
Review the widgets in the editor to ensure the layout looks correct.
Once satisfied, save your page changes to push the live LinkedIn integration to your website.
Cautionary Notes
URL Accuracy: Ensure you are using the Company URL/Username and not a personal profile link, as the feed widget is designed specifically for LinkedIn Business/Organization pages.
Privacy Settings: If your LinkedIn posts are set to restricted or private, they may not display correctly on your public website.
Widget Preview: Some details, like the live follower count, may look like a generic placeholder in "Preview Mode" until the page is live or fully refreshed.
Tips for Efficiency
Strategic Placement: Place the LinkedIn Feed on your "News" or "Member Home" page to keep content fresh without having to manually update the website.
Design Consistency: Use the "Minimal" layout style if you are placing the feed in a sidebar or narrow column to prevent the page from looking cluttered.
Grow Your Base: Enable the "Follower Count" if you have a large following, as it encourages new members to join a thriving community.
