Adding member-only pages to your member portal
Last updated August 5, 2026
Objective
This guide explains how to add existing website pages to the Membership Portal so they are visible only to logged-in members in Recur.
Key Steps
Step 1: Open Pages in the Website Builder
Navigate to the Website Builder.
Click on Pages.
Select the page you want to add to the Membership Portal.
Step 2: Open Page Visibility Settings
With the page selected, make sure you are not clicking into any specific content block.
On the right-hand side, locate Page Visibility.
Find the section labeled Pages.
Step 3: Set the Page as a Member Page
Under Page Visibility, choose Member Page instead of Public Page.
This ensures the page will only appear in the Membership Portal.
Step 4: Publish the Page
Click Publish Page.
Confirm the page shows as published.
Step 5: Verify in the Membership Portal
Open the Membership Portal.
Navigate to Pages.
Confirm the newly published page appears under members-only pages.
Cautionary Notes
Pages must be published after changing visibility, or they will not appear in the Membership Portal.
Only members can view pages marked as Member Page.
Tips for Efficiency
Create all content first, then assign pages to the Membership Portal in one pass.
Use clear page titles so members can easily find resources.
Regularly review member pages to ensure information stays current.
